Siding Installation
Since our specialty services are kitchen and bathroom remodeling and additions, putting up siding is a natural part of the addition process. That also includes the related insulation to improve the energy efficiency of your home or business.
Even though most of our siding projects are part of remodeling and additions, there are good reasons to do this as a separate service. Many older homes with wood siding have already been converted to vinyl due to the advances that have made vinyl a better choice than wood. If you still have aluminum siding, the advantages go beyond the unsightly denting that is common to aluminum.
Aluminum is a metal which makes it a conductor. It doesn't just conduct electrical current, it conducts heat, meaning it works to negate the insulation making your furnace work harder to heat and your AC work harder to cool. We will be careful to point out out that vinyl siding is not an insulating material, only that it doesn't work against your insulating measures like aluminum will. It simply makes your insulation more effective because it is non conductive.
Wood was a good idea many years ago because it is non conductive. Aluminum focused on solving many issues with wood while creating its own set of problems. Vinyl provides a balance between the two and the advances in vinyl quality have made it the best option currently on the market. Past problems and drawbacks to vinyl were overcome many years ago.
